Kickin' Kids Soccer League

Kickin' Kids Soccer League

Ages 3-7

This league is great for boys and girls looking to learn basic soccer fundamentals. Players will learn how to pass, shoot, dribble, and play together as a team. Parent volunteers and Rec staff will lead a 30 minute practice followed by 15 minutes of instructional game play ages 3-4. For ages 5-7 there will be a 30 min practice followed by 30 minutes of instructional game play. Each participant will receive a t-shirt uniform at the first session and rosters and schedules will be emailed out the week of April 22nd. All games will be played 6 vs. 6, allowing plenty of participation during actual game play. Shin pads and cleats are not required for this program, but are recommended.

Sports Leagues

These programs focus on introducing children to a team & game environment, while reinforcing the fundamentals of each sport. At each session, children will be able to participate in skill building drills followed by a 30 minute game. Through this process children will better understand the concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, and game play, which will help to make every child’s experience on the court or field a fun one!

Volunteer Coaching

We would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to be a volunteer coach. Your commitment is only one hour per week for either sports league. Rec relies on parent volunteer coaches to make these leagues successful.

If interested in volunteering to coach in either or both leagues, please note during registration and contact Janci Soto (Janci.soto@andoverma.us or 978-623-8340)

Emergency Sheets are required for ALL individuals (adults & youth) participating in any Andover Recreation programs, events, and trips. They must be filled out for each individual annually. Some programs will require additional paperwork or a new Emergency Sheet to be filled out.
