Hi. I'm Splash!
I am Andover Recreation's mascot, and I am so excited to meet you all! I'll be out and about at programs and events, but I've been getting a lot of questions about myself. So, I thought I'd check in and share a little bit more about me.
Splash's Stats
Species: I'm a turtle like many of my fellow turtles from Pomps Pond.
Age: 10 (which means I don't have to worry about SAT math or verbal prep just yet, phew!)
Height: 6'0" (some would call me a giant turtle)
Where I'm From: Pomps Pond (of course!)
Favorite thing to do at Pomps Pond: Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP)! I'm pretty athletic for a turtle.
Favorite Food: Candy from the Pond snack shack! (Shh, don't tell anyone; turtles aren't supposed to have candy!)
Fun Facts: I'm the #1 high-fiver in all of Andover and can build sand castles faster than any turtle.
Special Skills: I'm a bit of a showman (or rather, showturtle?) with lots of personality and a passion for interacting with the wonderful residents of Andover.
Favorite Sport: Definitely football. You should see how fast I am, and no other turtle can throw a football as far as I can! I'm signing up for SNL Flag Football this fall, and I can't wait. Touchdown!
