Rec Park Pickleball Courts are open for the spring season!

Winter Updates

The Rec Park Pickleball Courts will remain open until there is snow/ sleet or ice forecasted. The gates will be locked and no play will be permitted until the courts cleared are deemed safe for play by the Andover Recreation Department. This page will be updated when courts are locked and unlocked throughout the winter or you can email rec@andoverma.us or call 978-623-8340 for court status.

The use of any ice melt, shovels, ice chippers, or similar tools will result in the courts being closed immediately for the remainder of the winter. Please understand that ice melt and metal tools will destroy the rubber coat and cause long term damage to our courts. 

The Rec Park Tennis Courts are closed for the 2022 season and will reopen when weather permits in the Spring! 

October 28th, 2022 Update: 

We are excited to announce that Andover Recreation will be opening the Rec Park Pickelball Courts as of 3:30 on 10/28/22. We are awaiting a few final details to have the courts completely finished. Please note the courts are open to the public and there will be no paid drop in play until Spring of 2023 on these courts.

October 27th, 2022 Update: 

We are thrilled to announce the Rec Park Tennis Courts are OPEN and the Pickleball Court painting and lining has been completed. As of 12:00 noon on 10/27 there are still a couple spots of paint that are not fully cured so we will no be reopening until the paint is fully cured. With a few days of nice weather ahead, we are hopefully the paint will be able to fully cure and the courts will be reopened. 

We will continue to monitor the courts and post when they are reopened.

September 6th, 2022 Update:

Our second phase of the Pickleball Court Renovations has begun. As of Tuesday September 6th, Andover Rec's Pickleball Courts are CLOSED.
