Kids with a Vision: Create a Vision Board and Set Your Goals into Action!

Kids with a Vision: Create a Vision Board and Set Your Goals into Action!

Grades 6-8

Have fun creating a vision board (collage) of your dreams and goals. This workshop aims to motivate and inspire kids to create a vision of who they want to be, what their dreams are in life, and to start thinking about how to make this happen.  Visualizing what you want is a key step in setting and making your goals a reality. When kids reach their goals, they become more confident in their ability and see opportunities in what is possible. In this workshop we’ll look at the child’s unique values, strengths and passions and how to use them to reach their goals. Learning how to take steps toward goals is a valuable life skill which empowers kids to believe that their actions determine whether they are successful or not. Kids learn the power they have and are more persistent and apt to set new goals in the future. In this workshop we aim to keep kids engaged by having it very interactive. We’ll discuss the power of gratitude, resilience, learning vs. failure, and discuss the power of S.M.A.R.T. goals. Kids will leave with a beautiful and personalized visual board to support them on their life journey along with powerful well-being skills.
