  • Beach Buddies
    Ages 3-6 • June 27-August 12 • Location: Pomps Pond • Limit: 40/week Looking for a fun-filled morning or full day at the beach? Does your child enjoy small group activities? If so, Beach Buddies, held at Pomps Pond, is the perfect place to be this summer. Children will enjoy swimming lessons, along with boating, beach activities, arts and crafts & nature walks. Please bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, water bottle, and snack each day. Full day, please also bring a lunch.   • Woodwind and Brass Week
    Band camp junior! Flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. The high school marching band gets together to refresh their skills in the summer, why not grades 4-8? This is a great way to play some more music and have some fun with your fellow band mates. We will play a lot of music but also a few games!! We will perform at the August 3rd Andover Farmers Market.
  • Make Your Own Games & Animations
    Ages 7-12 Dive into the world of code by coding your own space shooter games, trivia games, music bands, beautiful computer-generated art and math simulations or tell a story! Coding can be for kids of all ages! Even beginners who have no prior coding experience before are able to jump in and learn too! Kids learn to code using visual code blocks that represent real programming concepts that scale from easy to advanced. They learn about sequencing, loops, infinite loops, conditionals, events and more. With our Drag and Drop Platform, kids learn to code by creating their own games!
  • Intro to Python Programming
    Ages 10-15 Python is a great way to start your journey in the world of text based coding. It’s a great first language because it’s concise, easy to read and very versatile. Whatever you want to do, you can do it in Python. Our Python course covers everything you need to know to master the language - from declaring variables to creating tuples. If your goal is to develop problem solving skills, learn cool technology or develop projects for college applications, Python is a great place to start!
  • Game Based Python
    Do you love playing games? Do you want to learn how to code? Well, you are in the right place! In our Game-Based Python course, you'll learn to code by playing a game and solving coding puzzles that get increasingly challenging. As you go, you'll get to create your own game in Python using the skills and problem solving skills you have just gained!
  • Design Your Own Roblox Games
    Anyone can build a game in Roblox! Roblox studio has all the tools to make your wildest gaming imaginations a reality. You tell us what game you want to make and we'll teach you the fundamentals and coach you through bringing that game to life! Whether you're new to coding or have some experience, you will be challenged and have fun while bringing your game to life. Through drag and drop techniques or pure scripting, you’ll be creating extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding.
  • Build Epic Worlds Together in Minecraft
    Ages 6-12 In our Minecraft World Builder course, you will learn how to run a city, manage money and protect the environment, all within the 3D world of Minecraft! This course is not coding based but a platform for you to learn more about real world economics, city planning, and life management! In Minecraft World Builder, you will be a part of a committee and learn to manage money by building onto your ever growing city with your peers!

  • Modding with Minecraft
    Ages 8-12 Explore, create or survive! Mine deep into the Minecraft world and create the future! In this creative camp, challenge the odds, craft your own kinds of weapons and build dream worlds using code. Do this while also learning fundamental programming concepts, level design, and problem-solving skills. You will make use of ready-made coding blocks to create mini versions of Minecraft games.
  • Wilderness Medicine Summer Programs
    Conquer the great outdoors! Camp participants will role-play emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters. These future emergency medics will learn about snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquito bites, and more.
  • Little Vet School Summer Program
    Become a paw-some and purr-fect veterinarian! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a dog and/or a cat. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more!
  • Wicked Cool Vet School
    Grab your lab coat, animal lovers, as we learn about our favorite furry, flying and fishy friends! Make amazing animal models, build big bones, and investigate animal intestines from our favorite vertebrates: birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Dissect an owl pellet to discover a predator’s diet. Try your hand at catching some invertebrates as we study insect exoskeletons and get into tiny worlds to look at animal cells and parasites.
  • Gadgets & Contraptions
    Design, build, and experiment with classic moving gadgets and investigate how they work. Tinker with tops and construct zany ziplines. Create cars that move with magnets. Conquer kinetic energy with wind-ups and rubber band-powered playthings. Build a Rube Goldberg machine and engineer extraordinary buildings.
  • Rocket Science
    Entering Grades K-5 Features the all time favorite - customizable E2X model rocket. Keep a Captain’s Log as you investigate what’s inside the rocky planets and gas giants. Map distant constellations, create glittering moon rocks, and make galaxy slime as part of your out-of-this-world lunar journey. Blast off with a solid fuel high flying launch at the end of the week (weather permitting). Stay a full day to terraform a Mars colony and investigate how NASA’s DART mission is learning to redirect asteroids in space!
  • Chemistry Creations
    Entering Grades 1-5 Become a chemist and a creator as you discover hands-on science fun! You will explore the worlds of Chemistry and Science while creating fun things to take home. Learn about matter, chemicals, and reactions; watch demonstrations and create your own experiments; and use the Scientific Method to make some science fun! Take home your chemistry creations daily and wrap up the workshop by making ice cream using science.
  • Arcade Electronics & Game-atorium
    Do you like to play board and video games? How about working with electronics, cards, and dice to create and play your own games? Then this workshop is for you! Work together with electronics kits to build fun electronic games. Program a spinning light to display different sayings, learn to program the circuit board to test your memory, play games, and make different funky sounds. Play group games, card games, board games, and even make up your own to play. Come join the Game-atorium for some arcade fun!
  • Ancient Egyptian Archaeology
    Step back in time as you become an Archaeologist and explore Ancient Egypt! Excavate a mummy from a pyramid and keep the treasures inside. Learn about the importance of ancient Egyptian culture, create your own Ankh, make a paper pyramid to store artifacts, and explore fossils, artifacts, and art. Dig into the fun of exploring Ancient Egypt!
  • Young Entrepreneurs (Summer)

  • CyberCrawler Robot
    Build and take home your very own CyberCrawler Robot! This smart coding robotics kit entertains and teaches programming skills to inquisitive young future robotic engineers! With the aid of your instructor, you will each assemble your own robot that consists of 76 pieces. Once completed, a simple press-button programming keypad embedded on its cranium will send your CyberCrawler on its way! You can design obstacles and maze courses with your classmates and see how far you can go.   • Electricity & Magnetmania
    Learn all about electronics, magnetism, and more in this fun and educational hands-on workshop! Take part in our Minds in Motion electronic lab and take home your very own circuit kit. With the aid of your instructor, simply follow the colorful pictures in your manual to build up to 100 exciting projects such as a flying saucer, alarm, and doorbell! Watch electricity being produced by a hand held generator and take part in a cool activity involving a very powerful magnet. Behold a special magnetic top levitating and much much more!
  • Build-A-Thon
    This workshop is all about building! Learn the basics of the Engineering Design Process by using your very own building kit to keep at the end of the week. Use our build kits to create new constructions every day - and then knock them down at the end! Learn to use basic tools safely to construct using cardboard and other materials to invent and make your own designs. Come build up some fun!
  • Space Robot: Mission To Mars
    Let imagination take flight with this innovative, solar-powered workshop that explores Mars, our Solar System, and space travel! Mission Specialists use their very own Solar Space Fleet kit to create six different moving models that use three different interchangeable energy sources: solar energy, rechargeable battery, or battery pack. View 3-D images of the surface of Mars, make your own Rover, and fly a demo of the Ingenuity helicopter! The Space Fleet kit goes home with you at the end - time to blast off for fun!
  • 13-in-1 Solar Robot
    In this workshop we explore the basics of robotics, electricity, and solar energy using your very own 13-in-1 solar robot kit to take home at the end of the week. Learn how to build a gear, use a basic motor, and create robots with different forms and functions. Use our free build and robotics kits to create your own designs. Come join us for some robot fun!

Learn all about forensics, searching for evidence, and gathering clues, and bring home your very own detective kit! Working in groups, you will conduct many science experiments in our crime lab to solve the mysteries at hand. You will also perform chemical analyses and observations working with powders, liquids, and much much more! Be amazed at how much science plays a part in solving crime. Come ready with your thinking caps and be prepared to use all the skills necessary to solve the crime of the century and help save the minds in motion laboratory!

    Our LEGO Mindstorms Robotics program is designed with advanced builders in mind! Using both the LEGO Mindstorms NXT and EV3 robotics systems participants will have an opportunity to construct and program several different robotics including a battle arena robot, stinging scorpion, and a marble shooting tank. This is the perfect class for those looking to take their LEGO building and programming to the next level!
